That's interesting. My son has experienced not being able to afford the high cost of tuition. I talk about this on my blog at http://joeydeveauxgwu.weebly.com. Here is an excerpt from that blog:

Is There a Justified Reason Why Banks That Have Been Bailed Out By The Government Won’t Help Hard Working Students Fund Their Education?

My son, Joey Deveaux, has been accepted for an internship in George Washington University in Washington, D.C. He has been to several banks and institutions to obtain a loan for the Fall 2009 internship. Stafford loans and Pell grants will not be accepted for this internship. He doesn’t have bad credit or credit cards, and he doesn’t have an established credit history. The government has given banks in the U.S. bailout funds, and it seems as though they are not willing to help students that are trying to advance their education in hopes of helping others with their knowledge to better the future generations of the world.

He is in need of ten thousand dollars for this internhip. Thank you in advance for your consideration and kindness. It will be greatly appreciated. He will be seeking this internship in journalism to become a better person and to use his profession to help others.
