Hello distinguished sirs,

I am a UK undergraduate student who is in the process of writing a thesis on capital punishment: The necessity of Cost-Benefit Analysis. Reading this post, the other factors mentioned by Dr Posner that must be taken into account e.g the utility retributivist, or disutility of opposers of capital punishment seem like factors that would play a big part in a CBA.

Could anybody help me towards any literature that discusses these things in more detail. I would really appreciate it.

I am not sure if this post is still active and regularly checked but I thought I would give it a try.
